Education, Work Experience, and Research History
I have a doctoral degree in educational psychology and counseling (in Counselor Education) from the University of South Dakota. Previously I have been a full time faculty member, mental health counselor, family therapist, school counselor and Assistant Dean for a School of Education. I am currently the Director of Academic Evaluation and Assessment. I have taught primarily in counseling programs also have taught courses in undergraduate education, school psychology and educational psychology.
I was a full-time faculty member from the fall of 1991 until taking the Assistant Dean position in the School of Education. I have publications in the area of assessment, career counseling, school counseling and mental health counseling. I have also published in the area of school violence, and to a limited extent in business management as well.
